Booking Conditions
These booking conditions (the “Booking Conditions”) are between Timeout Escapes or our representative(s) (“we”, “us” and “our”) and the holidaymaker(s) who book our property (the “Property”). References to “you” or “your” are references to the person making the booking (“Booking”) and all members of the holiday party.
Any Booking is subject to the conditions below. These Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with us so please read them carefully. Nothing in these Booking Conditions affects your normal statutory rights.
- Making your booking
To book the Property with us you should make the payment specified in the initial quote (the “Reservation Summary”). The Reservation Summary stipulates that you pay a 50% booking deposit (the “Booking Deposit”) followed by a balance payment (the “Balance”), you must make both payments within the time periods specified. The Reservation Summary may ask you to make a payment in full if booked less than 14 days before your stay. The Reservation Summary specifies that a damage deposit (the “Damage Deposit”) may also become payable.
Once the Booking Deposit or full payment has been received, you will receive an email confirming the Booking. The contract between us will only be formed when you receive the payment confirmation email and is subject to these Booking Conditions.
You should carefully check the details of your Booking before making a payment, as well as the confirmation email and inform us immediately of any errors or omissions.

- Damage Deposit if damage is caused during your stay.

As a holiday letting, this Agreement is an excluded Agreement for the purpose of the Protection from Eviction Act 1977.
It is the intention of the Owners and the Guest during the term of this Agreement that the occupation by the Guest of the Premises is for the purposes of a holiday let only and that the Guest occupied the Premises solely on this basis and that this Agreement shall take effect as a holiday letting Agreement only.
These Booking Conditions, together with the Reservation Summary Quote, the Cancellation Policy, our House Rules (below) and our confirmation email contain the entire agreement between us and you relating to the Booking and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements or discussions.

No Parties or Events
This is our family home and we are hesitant to have parties. It very much depends what you are planning for your stay. We have neighbours and we will not endorse loud party music, especially outside - the curfew for outside activity is 10pm. Please respect our neighbours
Pets
Pets are not allowed upstairs or on any furniture.
Pets may only use the garden under supervision and must not use the garden as a toilet - no exceptions. Any signs of dog fouling will be charged accordingly. The garden is used for children to play in.
Swimming Pool
Our outdoor pool is heated to 28C.
The pool area presents a risk to all guests, especially young children and non swimmers.
Children should be supervised by an adult at all times while in or around the pool.
Please respect our neighbours while using the pool.
Never let children swim unattended.
No drinks or food in or near the pool - no exceptions.
The pool must be covered when not in use, this will require two people to gently pull from each corner.
Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. No liability or responsibility will be accepted in the event of accidents or death. If you are not happy with this, please do not use the pool. Any use of the swimming pool will be deemed as acceptance of the condition that you are doing so entirely at your own risk.

The Old School is serviced by a septic tank. It is vitally important that only human waste and toilet paper is flushed down the toilets. Disposal of any other items down the toilets will block the tank, back up the system and cause a sewage overflow into the garden and house. Should this occur, there will be a charge of £250 per booking to unblock the system and sanitise all areas. For your convenience, there are general waste and sanitary disposal bins in all loos.
